Cathy brings over two decades of operational expertise and experience through leadership coaching and roles in multiple sectors, including: learning, philanthropy, openness, technology, global services, and bio-medical. She has held leadership roles as CEO and President of Creative Commons, VP at EdCast, VP at The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, Fellow at the Aspen Institute, and founding pioneer of the Open Education field at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Job functions have  included executive leadership and decision-making, strategy development and implementation, organizational change, and talent development and management. 

 
 
 

Executive coaching and leadership development engagements are tailored to each professional and include goal setting, values clarification, and 360 degree assessments. Strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation can also be included as part of the coaching service package.

Catherine is a Senior Coach with The Center for Advancing Leadership and Human Potential and completed her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach training with the Coaching Training Institute. The program included in-person training over a six-month period followed by a one-year certification process.
